Start your day with a sightseeing tour of Mexico City's vibrant city center. Begin at the Zocalo, the political heart of the country, and marvel at the grandeur of the Cathedral and the Presidential Palace, home to the famous murals by the renowned Mexican artist Diego Rivera. You'll also traverse Paseo de la Reforma, the most beautiful street in Mexico City, known for its numerous monuments and memorials. Next, venture to the legendary Teotihuacan, the "city where people become gods," and stand in awe of the iconic pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. The tour continues with a visit to the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe, Mexico's beloved patroness, where you'll learn about the numerous legends and miracles associated with this sacred site. This full-day excursion offers a deep dive into Mexico's rich history and cultural heritage. Note that lunch is not included in the tour.
After a day of exploration, you'll be transferred to Mexico City Airport for your flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. Upon arrival in San Jose, you'll be greeted at the airport by your bilingual guide. From there, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in San Jose, where you can relax and prepare for the adventures that await in Costa Rica.
After breakfast, you'll depart from San Jose for a private tour of Poas Volcano National Park with your bilingual guide. Poas Volcano, one of the world's largest geysers, boasts a 1.5 km diameter crater that safely emits steam and gas. Surrounding the crater, you'll find a tropical forest rich with ancient trees, orchids, and bromeliads. Next, you'll visit the Doka coffee plantation, famous for producing some of Costa Rica's finest coffee. Here, you'll learn about the entire coffee production process, from growing and harvesting to processing and roasting, and have the opportunity to purchase coffee directly from the factory at the best prices. The tour continues with a visit to a butterfly farm, followed by a traditional Costa Rican lunch. You'll then proceed to explore the majestic Arenal Volcano, capping off a day filled with the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Costa Rica.
Begin your day with the Hanging Bridges of Arenal tour, a 2.5-hour walk through pristine tropical rainforest, offering spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano. After lunch, embark on a Canopy Tour of the private lands of Arenal Paraiso Hotel. This exhilarating adventure allows you to glide on ropes between platforms high in the treetops, providing a bird's-eye view of the breathtaking landscape. You'll meet your instructor who will guide you through this unforgettable experience under extreme conditions. In the evening, unwind at the renowned thermal springs of Trying, considered the best thermal spa in the country. After breakfast, you'll depart from Arenal and return to San Jose. From there, you'll catch your flight back to Mexico. Upon arrival at the Cancun airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of Cancun or Riviera Maya.
